I'm glad to take part to this event...
I often feel lost and powerless concerning green issues...
It's pleasing to see that other people care
about nature and do things and try to make it better.

For this occasion you will be able to bid
on two very nicely done prints on wood...
with low starting prices...
I count on you!

The two available prints will be :

"Lacrimosa"

and
"Lhasa"

The M. Lady

M. for Mysterious...
I can't find her a name yet...
Maybe you would help? :)

"Dans les bois"?
"Little Miss Mystère" ?

Funny to consider now all the steps she went through...
From the girl very girly , very princess-like
for the children book
to something more personnal...

Wip wip wip... done!

Titania...

"I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine."

A Midsummer Night's Drea, Shakespeare

Inspiration...

Just an absolutely marvellous little book :)

John Singer Sargent is just a killer...

If you like him, have a look at William Bougereau's work,
and if you want to cry a bit more, go and google James Jebusa Shannon...

Studio life...

Little glimpse on my studio...
Sometimes I wish I could have a studio outside my home,
with other artists.

I love being alone to paint...
but still I need to see real people...

But anyway, right now I don't have the choice :)

Lhasa

Here's a painting I did for the collective show
at Curiosité Gallery.
I think I named her Lhasa because of
the little red flying fishes in the sky...

It reminded me of the song by Lhasa de Sela...
"Los peces en el rio",
(and yes I know the Gipsy Kings sang it before her...
but well... I prefer Lhasa's song.

Lhasa is now available,
please contact me if you are interested :)
